About our home

Guildford was one of the first settlements in Western Australia. The township was established by Captain Stirling. It's position was chosen based on good fertile land and access via the river Swan being in close proximity and allowing for farming produce to be traded with other regions. If you love wine then this is the gateway to the Swan Valley region with an abundance of wineries cellars, Gourmet and Artesian restaurants and Cafe's. We are located 5 minutes walk to the Guildford Train Station and 20mins from Perth CBD and 30 minutes to Cottesloe beach which is a must.

We are also 15minutes from airport and east of Perth. There are many pubs The rose and crown and the guildford hotel, padburys and many cuisines along the township parade.

Neighbourhood

Guildford is a historical town and was one of the first settlements in Western Australia.
The township was first discovered by captain Stirling back in the early 1800 and was chosen for settlement as it was close to the swan river for transport by boat for wheat and farming goods.
The town has many of Perth oldest building including a post office and jail which can be visited on the historical & Anzac trail.
Our home is also recognized as an Anzac home as one of the Anzac soldiers was residing here at 77 James street.
Guildford has many eateries and Cafes, our favorite is the old Rose and crown hotel and Padburys both offer great food and wine, Guildford is the gateway to the swan valley with many wineries tours are recommenced to the cellars and chocolate factories and restaurants.
