About our home

Superb renovation of original stables adjacent to the River Torrens and Botanic Gardens offering stylish accommodation.

If you are looking for a calm, light filled space to use as your base to explore Adelaide and the nearby wine regions this would be the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that South Australia has to offer.

Quality furniture, bed linen and towels have been thoughtfully selected for a luxurious stay. The kitchen is fully kitted out with all the equipment you would need but with the array of great Adelaide restaurants and bars on your doorstep and the abundance of produce offered by the Central Market you will have plenty of great options to consider.

As we live interstate and only use this abode when visiting family in Adelaide we have the property available for guests to use throughout the year. As the property is professionally managed a cleaning fee will be payable and I will need to check availability with my caring property manager.

There is ample parking on site and it is no more than 5 minutes into the centre of the CBD by car or a pleasant 15 minute walk along the river to the city or 20 minutes walk to the Adelaide Oval for cricket or footy.

More about us

  1. We are a professional couple living in inner urban Melbourne with one well travelled and house trained young adult son.

  2. We hope to have more time to travel in the coming years but at this stage we tend to do most of our trips during school holidays. We have enjoyed our many house swaps in Australia and overseas and appreciate the mutual trust, respect and courtesy involved when you are swapping your home.

As we have accumulated a points balance and so we have a preference for home exchange (non-simultaneous is fine) rather than points swaps.

  3. We love spending time in nature, discovering new locations and regional produce.
