“I stayed at the Stables for four weeks during May and June 2020. It is a very comfortable and stylish space and very well located close to local shops and restaurants. It is walking distance to the Botanical Gardens and the city centre. Michaela is a very welcoming host and communication with her is quick and responsive. I would highly recommend this home for a short break or long stay in Adelaide.”

“This is a super house in a great location - in spite of the 40 degree heat we had a great time! The house is tastefully and attractively presented, with very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a pleasant courtyard area. It is close to the riverside path - we hired bikes and could cycle in and out of town - or in our case, to the book festival - easily and enjoyably. Bikes are a great way to get around and to explore all Adelaide's lovely parkland. Michaela was very helpful and left us everything we needed. This was a top stay for us and we loved Adelaide.”
“Michaela ‘s property is a thoughtful conversion of historical stables. It’s centrally situated- an easy walk through the park into the city. We did this a few times during our four night stay. There is everything provided that you need for a comfortable stay; the kitchen set up if you want to stay in and cook. We cooked one night after a trip to the markets in town- not to be missed! The bedrooms are spacious and also thoughtfully decorated -beautiful bed linen was an appreciated feature. Although we couldn’t use the outdoor setting because of the time of year I can see it would be lovely in the summer months. And then there’s Michaela herself- a great host. Although we didn’t meet Michaela was really great to correspond with. Her instructions were easy to follow and we really appreciated the extra effort she went to in recommending things to do and places to eat. The PEEL STREET restaurant was a great experience. Cannot recommend this LHS more warmly- it was a treat. Thanks Michaela! ”
“Great weekend in a lovely home! Thank you!”
“Our family had a wonderful time @thehackneystables! Michaela is a wonderful host and promptly communicated with us every time. The property is in a perfect location close to major Adelaide CBD hot spots and at the same time tucked in a peaceful nook. The house is well equipped, spacious, stocked with more than the essentials and beautifully designed. We highly recommend as a favourite place to stay in Adelaide. ”
