“We had a great stay in Monica and Colins wonderful modern Healesville home - beautifully laid out and very comfortable and well equipped. It was close to anything and everything you would want to do in the Yarra Valley - so close to Melbourne and the airport. The wineries and walks and restaurants were superb. One highlight was the Healesville Sanctuary (an adjunct of Melbourne Zoo with everything Australiana). The June weather was lovely with fog, mist and sunny crisp days. Lovely sunrises from the balcony and beautiful sunsets what more would one want - Ohh yes - a glass of wine in front of the indoor or outdoor fires - fantastic - holiday complete. You must visit this part of the world - not to be missed. Maybe Monica and Colin can fit you in - you will not be disappointed. Maybe the planets will align and we can get there again. Sue & Steve (Noosa Heads). PS - The eggs from the chickens were yummy.”

Monica's reviews
As a host (8)“This property is marvellous to stay at. Beautifully clean and well appointed - 5 star. The view from both bedrooms and the lounge is spectacular and it is very quiet. Monica and Colin were so easy to liaise with and very organised. It was a breeze. Healesville only 5 minutes away and they are surrounded by magnificent wineries many with excellent restaurants. We enjoyed fresh eggs from the chooks every day as well. I would highly recommend this property for swapping with no hesitation and am envious of Monica and Colin for living there!! We have agreed to swap again in the future!”
“We had a very enjoyable trip to Healesville in Victoria, recently. The house is modern and easy to keep clean and tidy. It is beautifully situated to give views over the town below and surrounding countryside. Communication with our hosts was friendly and informative.”
“Our swap with Monica and Colin was a complete success. The house is stunning, the setting is beautiful with amazing views. The photos do not do this property justice. Everything was there to make for a great holiday, including a bottle of wine, biscuits and cheese, a gift from our generous hosts. Healesville is an interesting village with a good choice of restaurants and shopping, groceries etc, including an organic market every Saturday. We visited many other villages in the area and lunched at several wineries a short distance from Healesville. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and would have no hesitation in recommending this property to other would be house swappers.”
“Monica and Colin were delightful to deal with, very easy going and to the point when making contact. Their place was absolutely wonderful, clean and with beautiful views. A great place to base ourselves for the wonderful countryside around us. Easily accessible to the tourist spots that the region has to offer, plenty of good restaurants, wineries etc, and the shopping wasnt bad either. All in all, very lucky to have dealings with them both. Thank you so much for a delightful stay. Maureen and Ken ”
