About our home

The house is a 10-year-old high set Queenslander overlooking the waters of the Great Sandy Strait to Fraser Island. Open plan living onto the deck takes advantage of the magnificent ever-changing view. The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an in ground swimming pool.
Hervey Bay is a natural bay between the Queensland mainland and Fraser Island. There is good access to Fraser Island, recreational fishing and calm beaches.
Hervey Bay is situated approximately 3½ hours' drive north of Brisbane. The city is served by the high-speed Tilt Train, which has connections from Maryborough West or nearby Howard. The city is also served by direct flights from Brisbane and Sydney.
Hervey Bay has a mild climate with an average 30 °C (86 °F) in summer and 22 °C (72 °F) in winter.
Hervey Bay is the whale watching capital of Australia, with humpback whales migrating along the coast between April and October every year.
