“Amazing views over the city during the day and the city lights at night time were stunning from the balcony as you sipped a glass of wine. Nat was amazing in her communication both before and after the swap as I left something behind and she went out of her way to assist me. You could not ask for better help. The apartment is funky and spotless. Well put together. Just missed the tv to watch the news but we took our iPad so no big drama there. Great directions to the fab coffee chop and local pub a night markets. Thanks for the stay. ”

About our home
Nat's home faces north to beautiful city views and then wraps around to view the mountains and Brisbane River. The two bedroom home is decorated in midcentury furniture and fittings as a nod to the 1970s building it sits in. The kitchen is original, the bathroom has a bath and the apartment is filled with plants and quirky midcentury curios. The apartment block has a swimming pool and sauna. The apartment has parking for two cars. Bohemian Boundary St West End is only a walk away, full of excellent cafes, bars and restaurants. The 192 and 198 bus stops outside the building to get you to the city, South Bank, and the Medical/Uni Precinct of Woolloongabba, Buranda, and St. Lucia.
This apartment is perfect for a couple or three people who are visiting to explore Brisbane and beyond or to attend conferences or work commitments.
Please note that I do not have a TV - but there is plenty to keep you occupied in and around West End. Nor does the apartment have air conditioning; however, the apartment is breezy and I have a fan.
Minimum stays of 3 nights or more preferred. A cleaning/linen fee of $100 applies for all instant and points swaps.

“Nat’s is simply gorgeous - spacious, light filled, fabulous views of the river and the city - and close to the city and cafes of west end. Nat was a very thoughtful and friendly host. ”
“As indicated by our ratings we were very satisfied with location, cleanliness, property description, etc, but what impressed us the most was the 70's decor. Given Cher's background in 70's architecture that is really saying something. We thought we might be on our way back to the discomforts of the 70's, like no air-conditioning, but the light, spatial layout and the natural ventilation was excellent. Six stories up at the top of the hill overlooking the West End the view from the balconies was fantastic as to be expected and inside, as I have mentioned the decor and the art pieces were very good. The only art out of period were the vinyl LPs, so the irony was I spent one evening discovering what happened to music after Woodstock.”
“Great to have some people from Queensland. Very tidy, great communicators and would have again anytime”
“Great all round experience with Nat. Very successfull points swap. Thank you Nat.”

Neighbourhood
We like to call Highgate Hill "West End Heights". We basically sit up above the bohemian, eclectic, laid back, multicultural, hippie hipster suburb of West End. Buses are frequent, cyclists are random and dwellings around us are a good mix of apartments, Queenslanders, workers cottages and architecturally designed. We are super central to Qld Uni, the hospital precincts, South Bank, QPAC, GOMA, State Library, the Brisbane River, the Brisbane Convention and Entertainment Centre and the CBD. 40 mins walk to the CBD, 30 mins walk to the Convention Centre, 35 mins walk to GOMA, 15 mins walk to the City Cat Ferry Terminal in West End.
