About our home

Our house is 2 years old in quiet cul de sac which is 10 mins walk from the beach ,cafes and town. The house which is on 3 levels has an open plan kitchen dining lounge area which leads onto a deck overlooking garden and creek. There is a bedroom and ensuite on this floor. The next floor has 2 bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master has an ensuite and small balcony. The top of the house has another lounge/media room which leads to a further deck. All rooms have ceiling fans.

More about us

  1. We are a British retired couple now living in Australia after emigrating in 2011 to join our 3 children and many relations living here. We spent the first 5 years house sitting around Australia so consequently we are very used to looking after other peoples houses. When we found Kiama we decided it was the place for us. We were born in Bristol and lived there for 40 years and then moved to the market town of Frome in Somerset. We like to return to the UK every 2 years and think now we own a house here we would really like to get into house swapping.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Kiama is a picturesque seaside town in NSW with mountains as its back drop. It is 1 hours drive south of the outskirts of Sydney and the Sydney train terminates in Kiama station ( a 10 minute walkaway)The town is famous for its 2 blowholes and 5 fine beaches. Surf beach is 10 minutes walk away as is the town. There are many cafes restaurants and boutique shops in the town and a small mall for groceries etc. There is a large super mall 15 mins drive away.There are 2 swimming rock pools and a leisure centre nearby and also tennis courts.
