About our home

On the Far North Coast of NSW, down a quiet lane, 'Mirambeena' is a 120 year old renovated historic family homestead on 2 private acres. Relax by the 12.5m heated pool, and enjoy country walks and a landscaped garden perfect for cricket. Only a short drive to famous surf beaches and resorts towns.

A wonderful place for a family holiday on the Far North Coast of NSW. 'Mirambeena' is located in a very quiet country lane, perfect for country walks, surrounded by macadamia, citrus and avocado orchards.

It only 5 minutes from the historic town of Alstonville (with restaurants and cafes), 15 minutes from surfing beaches at Ballina, 20 minutes to the coastal town of Lennox Head, and only 30 minutes to the famous resort town of Byron Bay.” Mirrambeena”is the ideal retreat for a relaxing family holiday in one of the most beautiful parts of Australia.

Alstonville is a great centre for exploring the natural beauty of the Northern Rivers region, with its wide rivers, beautiful beaches and sub-tropical rainforests.

Where is it?

The perfect Neighbourhood as we are so close to all major tourist attractions but also still quiet and secluded. The best of both worlds. the Bryon Bay hinterland is famous for its relaxed laid back lifestyle and its focus on sustainable living. There is a focus on organic produce and the environmentally friendly lifestyle. Visit Farmers markets in villages for fresh produce from our farmers or eat at the world-renowned restaurants in Byron Bay and beyond. We have a fantastic climate with warm topical summers and then mild winters with the average temperature in winter is 21 degrees, so you can enjoy our fabulous beaches all year round.
