Our home is a custom designed, lovingly constructed 3+ bedroom family home that was owner built by my husband and others approximately 5 years ago. It is located within a master planned community within a natural bush setting, that is uniquely accessible to Melbourne via car or train (approximately 15km away). You would have access to a community country club, which has a pool, tennis court and gymnasium. While our house is located in an urban area, we are fortunate enough for the environment to be in a natural bush setting, with lovely trees and even kangaroos that live, and are protected, in the nature reserve across from our house and down the hill. There are also some lovely views from our home, which give a very peaceful outlook. The garden we have created is beautiful and completes the home we have proudly created. Our home itself is built across 3 levels, with the main living area, kitchen, powder room and study 1 on the middle level, the master bedroom, ensuite, study 2/4th bedroom and storeroom on the upper level, and further bedrooms, laundry and bathroom on the lower level. There is extensive decking around the house, both on the upper and lower levels, which are great for entertaining and enjoying a glass of wine on. On the lower deck there is an outdoor fire (Chimenea), which is lovely on chilly nights and great to cook a pizza on. This decking area overlooks a turfed backyard where children can play and run around. The gourmet kitchen is a delight to cook in, with every utensil you could imagine, with Miele appliances (kitchen and laundry). There is a full butlers pantry and plenty of storage, as well as a double garage with a mud room for taking shoes etc on and off. There is split system air conditioning and the house is heated with a hydronic system that makes for a very lovely warmth, which is also great for allergy sufferers. We have a computer and wireless internet available, as well as a home entertainment system. The house also has some eco-friendly features such has solar panels and 10,000 litres of water storage, which is used for flushing the toilets and provides water for the washing machine.
