“Lynne & Bob's house is spacious, clean, really comfortable and very welcoming & although we have never met either of them I know from over a year of exchanging e-mails it reflects both their personalities. The lovely seating area outside was perfect for the Queensland spring and the local shops & restaurants were a joy (use a car.......walking there would be fine if it isn't noon and 35*C - I speak from experience!) There is plenty to do in the area (parks and mountains and only an hour from Brisbane)but if you are beach people then you could happily spend the whole time on a great beach! We found Lynne & Bob really helpful and perfect guests - we came home to a spotless house & really felt they had treated it & all our stuff with kindness! I would recommend this exchange to anyone who wants to savor some time living the Oz lifestyle.”

We live at Alexandra Headland on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland. There are many local beaches & shops to choose from. One hour easy drive to Brisbane. We live on the Sunshine Coast where the everage sunshine daily is 10 hours. Temperatures - June to August ( winter) 7 - 22 deg, usually mild & sunny. Sea temperatures range from 19 - 22 deg in winter, so all year round swimming is realistic. Sunshine Coast living is very relaxed. Some attractions include - pristine coastlines, tropical landscapes, lush green hinterland areas, national parks, bushwalks,Australia Zoo ( home of the crocodile hunter, restraurants, markets, home to the Australian PGA golf championship, diving & world heritage Fraser Island.
