About our home

Light-filled, single level, open plan home in a quiet cul-de sac. Friendly neighbours. 5 Minute walk to the Malabar Headland National Park and to gorgeous Maroubra beach- arguably the nicest, certainly the most natural of the eastern Sydney Beaches.
3 bedrooms, one set up for a child, another coverts into a study when not being used as a bedroom (drop down bed). Front and rear gardens, back deck and alfresco dining areas. Established herb garden.
Gourmet kitchen with gas stove and Smeg double oven.
Bicycles and kayak available for use.
2 minute walk to small shopping centre with fruit shop/delicatessen, supermarket, chemist and post office, bakery, etc. 2 minute drive to larger shops at Maroubra Junction or Eastgardens.
Nearby health centre with multiple pools and classes. Children's cycle way (Heffron Pedal Park) with road furniture and traffic lights to aid with understanding road rules. Multiple other nearby children's play parks, including a terain park for skateboards, scooters and bikes.

Walk, bus or drive to other iconic beaches to the north- Coogee, Clovelley, Bronte, Bondi, Tamarama.
Easy access public transport to the city- see the Sydney Opera House, the Botanical Gardens, the Harbour Bridge and of course the fabulous harbour itself.
Drive or train to the blue mountains for quintessential Australian bushland hiking. Use Maroubra as a launchpad to explore other parts of Sydney, including famous Taronga Zoo, Manly Dam, the northern beaches.

Where is it?

From our house it is a short walk to Maroubra Beach. It's a beautiful place to go swimming, surfing and walking, and has many good places for coffee or eating out. Join the Bondi to Malabar Coast Walk from the beach, and enjoy the spectacular views and whale watching opportunities from the Malabar Headland National Park.
Ocean washed pools for those who are wary of the open sea. Walk or drive to Wylie's and McIver's Baths at Coogee for more options.
Join Maroubra or South Maroubra surf club for beach and rescue activities.
There is a terrain park for skateboards, scooters and bikes at the beach, and a bike track specifically for small riders nearby. For those with families there are many adventure playgrounds to explore.
Well linked with public transport to the other Eastern beaches and to Sydney City (approx. 30 mins by bus)
There is a small supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, post office and fruit shop 300 meters away. For larger shopping there is Maroubra Junction and Westfield Eastgardens a few minutes away by car.
