About our home

The house is tucked behind another house, down a driveway. There is parking for a couple of cars and a turntable so you don't have to reverse out. Downstairs is an open-plan kitchen-dining-living room with a courtyard garden shaded by large trees. The couch in the living room could be used as a bed. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The laundry is off the kitchen, with outdoor hanging space.
Upstairs is a studio/office, which is usable but has a lot of stuff stored in it. There is a deck off this room. A separate double bedroom and shower-room are situated off the upstairs landing.

Maylands is an upcoming area, with a strip of interesting shops and cafes clustered around the railway station. The train will take you into the city, to colourful Fremantle port, or north to the new town of Joondalup.

Visitors seem to like Perth, and of course it is a great base to travel up to the spectacular north of WA, or down to the cooler south, with superb beaches and wineries.
