About our home

Our home is a period home with excellent accommodation and living areas together with swimming pool, spa and lovely outdoor BBQ/living area. Local amenities include cafes, restaurants, parks, bike track and theatres, cinemas and golf course. Ideal position from which to explore all that the wonderful city of Melbourne has to offer. Only 20 minutes by train to city centre.

More about us

  1. We are a couple with 4 adult children who sometimes travel with us but often we travel without them. We love adventure holidays and particularly love walking and sailing. We love exploring little villages, learning about other cultures, food, wine, and the arts. Kevin is a Chiropractor and Margie is a Counsellor.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our home is about 10 minutes walk from a large shopping strip which has many restaurants and cafes. We are surrounded by many beautiful parks, walking and bike tracks as well as local tennis courts and golf course. Hedgeley Dean Gardens are within walking distance and Albert Park Lake is 20 minutes by tram. We are close to two train lines and a tram which takes you directly into the heart of Melbourne as well as to the hip area of St Kilda and the bars and beautiful beach.

Walks in the park
Hedgeley Dean Gardens, Central Park, Ardie Park, Urban Forest with its cute duck pond; all beautiful and 10 minutes walk away. Royal Botanic Gardens 15 mins by car and accompanying tan walking track, "The Tan", as well as trails by the Yarra River.
Spot of exercise
bike tracks to the city and linking Melbourne, local golf course and tennis courts, Msac, G sac, great indoor and outdoor swimming pools. St Kilda and Brighton beach 20 minutes away as well as Albert Park lake with accompanying walking track.
Day tripping
1 hour from Mornington Peninsula and all the great wineries and galleries, Healesville and the Yarra Valley with beautiful wineries, 1.5 hours from the Great Ocean Rd!
