About our home

Our three bedroom plus study single storey house
is 15 years old. Complete with dining room, lounge, family room and kitchen. All carpeted with slate floored bathrooms, entry and a cork floored kitchen and laundry. Floor to ceiling windows in most rooms, direct garden access from main bedroom. Set within front and rear treed private gardens with solar-heated in-ground pool. All furnishings/fittings are modern and of good quality. Possible car exchange.

More about us

We [Penny and Rob] are semi retired with all children flown the nest. We have travelled, worked and lived overseas extensively and want to visit our daughter in London, do some walking along the Cornwall coast, Pennine Way and revive some memories of our three years in Twickenham in the early seventies.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our house is in a quiet treelined street. Safe walking day or night. Park, tennis courts, bowls club and cricket/football ground within 500 meters. Bus stop 50 meters with bus transiting between two shopping complexes. [One, Chadstone, is Australia's largest]. Tram to city [walk 400 meters to stop]. Walk 15 minutes to large shopping precinct with restaurants, cafes, cinemas, pub and train station to city. We can drive on to the Melbourne freeway system in 5 minutes for easy city, beach or out of town access. Two hours walk to the city/Botanical Gardens, mostly along the river bank paths.
