The house has two stories. The upper story is really a "parent's retreat" with a large bedroom, bathroom, clothing room and spacious office area. Glimpses of the ocean can be seen as you work on your computer.
Downstairs are two bedrooms, one with queen bed and one with two singles. There is a small, but adequate lounge, a large kitchen /dining area, and bathroom, separate toilet and laundry.
There is also a pleasant outdoor area which we use extensively for entertaining.
We have front and rear gardens, and usually grow a variety of vegetables.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tina and Bronte\'s charming cottage. Moana makes an excellent base from which to explore both Adelaide and the coastal settlements of the Fleurieu Peninsular. The pace of life here is very gentle and laid back. The cottage is in a quiet side street, a few minutes walk from Moana Beach and five minutes drive from Seaford Shopping Centre. From here you can leave the car for free at the station and catch a train right into the middle of Adelaide for a very reasonable price, especially if you get a Metro card. To the south, it\'s a short drive to McLaren Vale and its many wineries while Victor Harbour and Kangaroo Island are both within easy reach. We fed Chino the cat and the three chickens, who were all very easy to care for, though there are good neighbours on hand to help out if you were away overnight. Our house was beautifully clean and tidy on our return home and all our arrangements worked well. Many thanks to Tina and Bronte for a great exchange.”
We are an active couple who have travelled extensively, and enjoy "the European experience".
We retired last year for a while, but are both now working at our pace, Tina as a consultant to Indigenous groups, and me, Bronte, as a Business Broker.
We enjoy good food and Tina spends a lot of time in the kitchen, and of course, to go with the good food there should be good wine, which is in plentiful supply from the wineries nearby.
We enjoy this location as we believe that we have the best of many worlds: Beach: countryside: wineries and easy access to the city.
Our house is in a quiet street in Moana, which is a Southern suburb of Adelaide. The house is ideal for those who fancy being close to a rural setting yet with easy access to the city. There is an excellent rail service near which can get you into the city in 45 minutes. Within 8 minutes drive are the wineries of the Southern Vales, which are famed for the reds produced here.
Moana beach is a 4 minute walk away, a very pleasant shopping centre is nearby, and surfing beaches are easily driven to. Golfers can play at several courses with Willunga, a pretty yet challenging course not far away.
