It is set on a large sloping block of 3000m2, with fabulous 180 degree views over Perth's hinterland. The garden is easy to maintain,with an automatic reticulation system.
Our neighbours are very friendly and helpful. Kangaroos visit us and the surrounding properties from a nearby State Park. There is a large shopping centre and rail station just 5 minutes away. Perth is easily reached by car ( 26km ) but we find that using the train is preferable as there are no parking problems. We are in easy reach of the Swan Valley, 40 minutes, which has great wineries and restaurants. Margaret River Wine Area is a little further about 4 hours by car, with excellent accommodation as well as wineries and restaurants. There are golf courses around. Freemantle is an attractive place to visit, for the history, sea port, museums and restaurants.
We are a retired couple, who love to travel. My wife was a dental therapist and I was a University Lecturer in Sports Science for 30 years. On early retirement, we purchased and ran a restaurant for some 6 years. We have exchanged homes once for 3 months in France, near Montpellier. We both have some French and Italian, and would love to exchange again in either France or Italy.
