**we have a swap organised for Dec/Jan 2018-19 but could swap to US in June/July 2019 or for points**
Our home is in the sought-after coastal suburb of Mullaloo with amazing beaches, a surf club and a cafe, bar and restaurant with sweeping views of the ocean.
Upstairs is a large bedroom with a king size bed (and a single bed for naughty children that don’t stay in their own bed all night!) a big ensuite bathroom with a spa bath, a parent’s lounge and a study room. Also a small balcony with partial sea views.
Downstairs is a double bedroom with ensuite and 4 single bedrooms set up for kids. There is a front lounge with TV, Netflix etc, kitchen and dining, a large games/playroom with tons of kids toys, and another bathroom and two toilets.
We have an independent cat that will need to be fed once or twice a day but she comes and goes by herself. If you would like to go away for a few nights, our parents are able to feed the cat.
As our house has been extended a few times there is not much backyard left, just a courtyard area but we have a strip of artificial lawn out the front with monkey bars for the kids to play. There is a huge park with a playground only a few minutes walk over the road and many other great parks in the area as well as the beaches. We are a 5 minute drive from the beach, a 10 minute drive to the train station into the city and a few hours drive from all the wonderful towns up and down the coast of Western Australia. We are close to Joondalup where there is a cinema, huge shopping mall, bars, clubs and restaurants, as well as Whitford City - a recently redesigned shopping mall with an outdoor area for families with restaurants and a pub. Hillarys Boat Harbour is 10-15 minutes drive away where you can play with the kids at the small beach and play area, grab some fish and chips or go to a restaurant or bar. This is also where you can catch the ferry to "Rotto" for your must-have quokka selfie. There is so much to do in and around Perth and our house is a great base. I love where I live and wouldn't live anywhere else.
I have 3 kids aged 3, 5 and 8 and we are very well travelled and want to see more of Australia. We just want to hang out and explore the beaches, trails, bushland and also the museums, shops, parks and play centres in another place.
We have booked tickets to the US for June/July 2019. Would love to swap to Miami, Savannah, Atlanta, Nashville, New Orleans areas or our house is available to swap for points if you are not from the US. I am not bothered about how big or fancy your property is, we just love adventures and discovering new places, and need somewhere to sleep at the end of the day.
