About our home

*only open to Australian swaps for the first half of 2019 *

Our large inner city apartment is located just off the popular James Street shopping area on the fringe of Brisbane city. The building is quiet and serene, with a beautiful central garden and ponds, a lovely break from the buzz of our local neighbourhood. There’s so much to do in our local area and all within walking distance of our apartment. Fortitude Valley is home to Brisbane's best bars and restaurants, and it’s a short walk to James street, for fantastic shopping, cafes and bars. On top of that, it’s an easy walk, bus or bike ride to reach the Brisbane CBD.

Our apartment is spread across two floors, with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. We’ve got a huge kitchen and dining room as well as a dining area on our leafy balcony for the balmy Brisbane nights. We currently have a king bed in the master bedroom, a single bed and cot in the second kids bedroom, and a queen bed in the third room. However, we can swap out the kids furniture for another queen bed if required. We have double height windows in the living area, so our apartment is always bright with a lovely view out onto our much loved balcony garden space.

Our central location means you're close to everything, for example:

Southbank Parklands / GOMA / Art Gallery - 12 minute drive / 16 minute bike ride
New Farm Park / Powerhouse - 5 minute drive / 8 minute bike ride
Brisbane City - 8 minute drive / 12 minute bike ride

Or if you fancy a day trip of our town - it's an easy drive to get to:

Surfers Paradise - 1 hour
Noosa - 1.5 hours
Byron Bay - 2 hours
