“We had a blissful month in Noosa at this lovely canal side home. Wendy & Michael left everything in perfect condition and kept in regular contact to make sure we were happy. Noosa is a fantastic place with so much variation. The waterside opportunities are huge be it on the river, beach or on the numerous local lakes. The hinterland is well worth a look as are the lovely selection of restaurants spread around Noosa. We loved it and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Wendy & Michael. ”
Wendy's reviewsAs a host (2)
“Stayed December-January 2017-18 Wendy and Michael’s canalside home is a private oasis, yet only minutes away from the bustling waterfront of Noosaville on the Sunshine Coast. An hour or so north of Brisbane Airport (thanks to the ComXion shuttle) we found ourselves chilling out by the pool in the garden. What could be finer after spending the previous 23 hours crammed up in a packed jumbo jet. Snowy London was instantly forgotten. Noosa, stretching for miles along the busy banks of the Noosa River, is best seen from the top deck of the ferry which plies up and down to Noosa Heads. Here you glide past multi-million dollar over-the-top gin palaces on the way to glitzy Hastings Street, a half mile of crowded top-end restaurants and over-priced clothes shops. Better by far to explore the hinterland. Highlights for us were the eco-cruise through the bird sanctuary everglades (think Florida without the alligators and airboats); stepping back in time in the small villages of the Glass Mountains (marvelling at the pioneers who made their homes there); dining at Spirit House, Yandini, a classy Thai restaurant and cookery school (wonderful setting around a woodland pool). Thank you, Wendy and Michael, Noosa was a great base to explore the wonderful beaches, national parks and stunning countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing time in your beautiful home. ”
