Spacious, modern family home near the beach

“Stuart and Tanya’s home was the perfect swap! They were extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home. Their home is spacious, clean, comfortable and perfectly appointed; with the swim spa, table tennis, cubby fort, trampoline and games, our children were continuously entertained. Their home is well positioned: only a few minutes drive from one of the best surf beaches in Victoria, with restaurants and shops also close by. We highly recommend these hosts and their home, and we would love to stay again. Five Stars! ”

“We were lucky enough to be able to commence our stay on 2nd August when the 5km travel lockdown restriction was lifted. Stuart was extremely good at communicating with us prior to the swap and this continued throughout our stay with Tanya as well. We immediately felt welcomed on arrival with a number of special treats for us to enjoy. The house was amazing! Ideal for a large family although there was only the 2 of us due to COVID restrictions. It was modern, light and bright and everything was organised so that we had no difficulty finding everything we needed. The swim/spa was beautiful and relaxing and heated 24/7. The area was perfectly located just outside of the town and the hustle of the tourist crowds but still only 4 mins drive to the beach. Lovely housing estate with lots of good walking trails and an easy walk to shops. We visited a couple of lovely local wineries and restaurants before we unfortunately heard the news that we were going into Lockdown 6. We reluctantly had to pack up and leave 3 nights before the planned end to our holiday. I would highly recommend this swap, especially anyone who has young children as the backyard is ideally set up with lots of play equipment.
