Alison is a retired music and drama teacher, who still directs a couple of choirs and also works as a wedding celebrant (www.alisonmackay.com). Gerrit is a semi-retired engineer originally from Holland, who has lived many years in Auckland , New Zealand, before moving to Byron Bay Shire a few years ago. We are both in our early 60's. Alison has 2 adult children. a son in London working at University Collage London, and a daughter in Sydney, and Gerrit has 4 adult children and 9 grand children in New Zealand. We were married in 2009. We love our beautiful home and beautiful surroundings of Byron Bay, as well as the people here. We have lots of friends and enjoy an active social life. We also enjoy movies, bush walking, biking, swimming and exploring new places. As well as all her musical arranging and singing activities, Alison also teaches SoulCollage (see www.soulcollage.com) and art journaling. She is also interested in history, and loves to read novels. Gerrit is enjoying semi retirement , does a bit of handyman and painting work these days, and loves to fix things!
We will be very careful and considerate with your home.
