About our home

We are offering a 3 bedroom luxury terrace completely renovated facing north which means it is very sunny. Our home is on 3 levels with modern wide stairs allowing easy access. 2 bedrooms have queen size beds and the 3rd a pull out sofa that sleeps 2 comfortably. This room also doubles as our office. Our TV room has a 48" screen and surround system. The main open plan living area is very Australian with an integrated dining, kitchen and sitting area which spills into the garden courtyard. The courtyard has a pond and a soothing trickling fountain. We ask you turn on the watering system and water our herbs, which you are free to use in your cooking. We also ask you feed the fish in the pond. The sitting area has white leather sofas and music to choose from jazz, opera and classic rock. Our wooden floors are scattered with rugs. Our walls are covered with ecletic/classic paintings. The cleaner comes once a week for basic cleaning. We love to cook and entertain often so our kitchen has lots of equipment and cook books to choose from. Our fish shop and best butcher in Australia is a convenient 10 minute walk away. If you do not feel like cooking, besides restaurants, there are many home delivery options. Our home is an oasis in an urban environment.

Where is it?

Sydney siders come to Paddington our area for the restaurants, cinemas, shopping, markets and art galleries, all within walking distance of our home. The famous Bondi beach is a 10 minute drive or a 45 minute walk or a 20 minute bus ride away. There are many other close by beaches. Picnics on the beach at sunset after a swim in the ocean or ocean pool are popular as well as the many seaside cafes. There are many accessible ocean walks. Public transport bus is at our doorstep and the Sydney train and ferries near by. Our street is tree lined and some would argue the best street in Padington. Sydney's zoo is right on the water and many of Sydney sites can be accessed by ferry a leisurly and wonderous way to travel. After exploring Sydney, there are many day and overnight places to see such as the wineries, Blue Mountains, Jenolan caves (second largest limestone caves in the world), Central coast with many more pristine beaches.
