“We enjoyed a wonderful exchange at Peggy and Dean’s luxurious home on the Sunshine Coast. Peggy did everything to make us welcome. While we were there, we had family join us for our grandson’s 7th birthday – what a delight it was for the children, with their own lounge area, a cooling swimming pool and a play room filled with toys – any child’s dream come true. The master bedroom, ensuite and parents retreat is amazing – huge and luxurious, 3 sides of the retreat comprised of wooden louvres, allowing a delightful breeze through the bedroom areas. All rooms in the house are spacious. Two separate living areas downstairs, also kids play room, large kitchen which opens fully via bi-fold doors onto the deck and barbeque area near the pool, a huge dining room with table big enough for a large family. This house is made for a family, but was also very comfortable for just the two of us also. Peregian Beach, a few minutes drive away, is a long, white beach, good surf, and a lovely village square atmosphere, and great coffee shops. A little further afield is trendy Noosa, and Coolum, with its lovely boardwalks around picturesque headlands. There is so much to do on the Sunshine Coast and the hinterland, you will not run out of great ideas. If you are lucky enough to arrange an exchange with Peggy and Dean, jump at the opportunity.
