About our home
Our spacious, modern home is situated in a gated estate overlooking the 18th fairway of the championship Peregian Springs Golf Course and comes complete with a private golf buggy for your use. As well as a plunge pool at home there is a 25 metre heated pool and barbecue facilities in our estate for your use. We are only 15 minutes away from the world renowned holiday destination of Noosa Heads.
The house consists of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an open plan living and dining area, and modern kitchen with top end appliances. There is a vaccumaid system in the house and the only gardening you will have to do is to water the pot plants and whatever vegetables and herbs might be in the garden at the time. An onsite caretaker is in charge of mowing the front lawn and keeping the place tidy.
The Sunshine Coast Airport, with daily flights to Sydney and Melbourne, is only 15 minutes away. This airport also caters for flights to and from New Zealand. Brisbane International Airport is one and half hours away and there are regular bus connections to and from the airport directly to our home.
One of our exciting daily tasks is to feed the lorikeets, white cockatoos and top notch pigeons who fly into our bird feeder around 4pm looking for their dinner. We often have a kookaburra or two sitting in the tree and on special occasions the rare black cockatoo will perch high in the tree.
We are non-smokers and our house and gardens are non-smoking areas. This is our only non-negotiable rule.

The Purple Copper restaurant at the golf club welcomes visitors and non members. What fun we have driving our golf buggy over to the restaurant for lunch or dinner. There are so many wonderful restaurants up and down the coast with a heap of awards between them. Rickys Restaurant, Wasabi, Locale in Noosa; Pitchfork and Periwinkle at Peregian Beach, Harvest at Coolum. You will have lots of fun deciding which one is your favourite.
The Sunset Bar on Gympie Terrace, Noosaville has to be a favourite. Sipping a delicious cocktail and watching the sun go down is a real treat. A number of beach front surf clubs featuring restaurants, bars and gambling are located along the coast, all a within 20 minute drive from our home.
Gympie Terrace, Noosaville; Sunshine Beach; Peregian Beach; Coolum – all have wonderful cafes with great coffee.
Hastings Street, Noosa is a mecca for shopping. Just 20 minutes south of Peregian Springs is the Sunshine Plaza which is the biggest shopping complex on the Sunshine Coast. Shops include Myer, David Jones, K Mart and Target. There is a cinema complex at both Noosa Junction and Sunshine Plaza.
Bit of culture
The International Noosa Food and Wine Festival is held during May and is 4 days of fun and frivolity. An hour away in the Hinterland is the thriving township of Montville with a wonderful array of quality art galleries, stylish cafes and restaurants, gift shops and fashion stores. A must to visit! Some say Montville is the creative soul of the region with a myriad of art galleries, pottery studios, craft cottages and gift and antique shops.
Walks in the park
Walking Noosa National Park is superb way to spend a day. You may come across some of our native fauna including koalas, wallabies and cockatoos and lots of other native birds.
Spot of exercise
Go for a bike ride (we have two bikes), walk and swim the beach or have a hit of golf. Our golf course welcomes visitors and non members. We have a ladies right handed set and a mens left handed set. Clubs can be hired at the club. There is always a hill or mountain to climb, or perhaps you might prefer to canoe along the river, or even learn to board ride. Plenty to do.
Queensland’s capital city, Brisbane, is only an hour and a half drive away. Another hour south of Brisbane is Australia’s famous Gold Coast. The hinterland of Montville and Maleny is another beautiful way to spend a day. You might be interested in a day trip to the beautiful Heritage listed Fraser Island.
