About our home

This is our 1896 inner city terrace house. It's very comfortable and quiet. From here it is a few minutes walk to cafes, restaurants and bars and only 10-15 minutes walk to Perth's CBD, art gallery, museum library and theatres. It is also close to the train station where you can get trains to other areas in Perth including Cottesloe beach or Fremantle.

The house has plenty of character, with high ceilings and fireplaces and wooden floors. It comprises two double bedrooms; two lounges; a kitchen/dining room as well a pleasant garden for alfresco dining or entertaining.

More about us

  1. We are Andrew and Kathy. We're non smokers and in our fifties. Andrew's an engineer and Kathy's a retired public servant. We enjoy travelling and spend a lot of time in Vietnam where we used to work. We enjoy brilliant museums and art galleries and the fabulous food and wine. We can imagine ourselves in some historic town or city, enjoying the local culture.

We are quite flexible about our destination and to some extent timing - though four or five weeks from March or April 2019 is ideal

We will be very caring about your place and quite relaxed about ours - we don't need anyone to look after the garden or surrounds .

Margaret River, famous for its surf beaches and wineries is 2.5 hours drive and makes for a great weekend away. See also our place in Busselton for beaches and wineries.
