About our home

Timber shutters push out to reveal views of Mossman Gorge and surrounding trees. Tropical birds abound, dipping into the rock pool. The architect-designed house is secluded but not remote, a perfect spot for relaxing in the hammock. Poincianas sway in the balmy breezes. Buzzing Port Douglas, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, is only a 10 minute drive, with smart restaurants and cafes. We would like to exchange cars too - we have a Subaru Forester 2009.

More about us

  1. We're Pam and John, a retired couple without travelling children

  2. Both of us worked in film and television

  3. We love the beach, theatre, museums and warm weather. We exchanged homes and cars in 2011 and 2013 in UK and France. Now we'd like to visit New York City in 2015.
