We live in a 20 year old neighbourhood near the foreshore of Port Phillip Bay, the Tasmania Ferry, and Port Melbourne beach. We are surrounded by parklands, bicycle trails along the beach, excellent public transport by light rail to the city, a bike trail to the city and a thriving cafe scene.
We share an open space with our neighbors in front of our homes. We have a double wide lane behind our house where we enter our two car garage with space for bikes.
Our home is quiet, roomy with central heating, a gas fire and air conditioning. We have a private courtyard with an outdoor setting and a built in gas BBQ.
We have a large dining/ lounge room in the front of the house with a flat screen tv and cable tv with comfortable leather furniture. We have a large dining table that can be extended for family or friend gatherings. We have a separate kitchen, eating area with new appliances, cupboards fully stocked with everything one might need to serve and cook dinner.
This area is full of parklands, places to walk or cycle, bike trails all along the beach, around Albert Park Lake and along the river. A bike punt will take you and your bike across the river to cycle trails to Williamstown.
We have excellent shopping options in the city of Port Phillip including my favourite, South Melbourne Market where one can buy delicious produce, cheeses, French pastries, freshly made on the spot Chinese dumplings, meats, health food, nuts, in the warmer months it is open for night markets and food trucks. There are a range of cafes and restaurants surrounding the market to try.
People walk the foreshore in the mornings to start the day.
We have 3 bedrooms and an office. There is an ensuite off of the Master bedroom, downstairs there is a further two bedrooms and a full bathroom.
We have a separate laundry with a washer and dryer and a number of clothes racks that can be used in courtyards to dry clothes.
There are a range of gyms in the area as well as the Melbourne Sport and Aquatic Centre where one may swim or hire courts for badmitten, squash, basketball, racket ball, table tennis or attend yoga, Pilates and other exercise classes.
We are near the arts precinct with galleries and theatres and urge you to attend these wonderful culturally rich venues while you were staying in our home.
