About our home

Stunning architect-designed home completed in August 2016. It sits in a quiet street only 300 metres charming walk from the nearest surf beach on Port Phillip Bay and just 50 metres from the picturesque calm water arm of Swan Bay. Queenscliffe is a wonderful historic village. In the first half of the 1800s, the days of early settlement of Victoria, Queenscliffe was thought to be the ideal site to establish the Port and City of Melbourne. Now a quaint village and seaside resort, Queenscliffe retains all the beauty of Heritage hotels, pubs and shops but boasts a thoroughly modern new Marina and sits alongside one of Melbourne's favourite holiday villages, Point Lonsdale.
The famous Great Ocean Road of Victoria starts just south of Queenscliffe ... here starts endless coastal loveliness, stunning surf beaches. The entire area is renowned for swimming, surfing, bike riding, walking, wineries, golf courses and spectacular sight-seeing. In the many wineries on the Bellarine Peninsula, the food is splendid. One winery within 15 mins of our house is exceptional. Queenscliffe is only one and a half hours drive from Melbourne City and there are connections by Train/Bus.
