About our home

Our 2015 built 3 bedroom plus study, home is modern but welcoming. It has a main bedroom with ensuite. 2nd bedroom with king single and 3rd bedroom with double bed. Lounge room with DVD/TV/Stereo, modern kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, living area with dinning table that converts to a pool table, piano and deck and yard with grass, trees and shrubs. Double garage, with car exchange available, (Nisson Micra).

It is a 5 minute walk to beautiful Morialta Park and lovely local walks. Google map Morialta Conservation Park) 15 minute by car into Adelaide city. Bus travel about 30 minutes into city. (Bus stop about 2 minutes walk from house) 10 minutes drive to cosmolitian Norwood Parade for meals. Lots of local pubs from Rostrevor to the city. (Need to drive, or closest pub would be a 30 minute walk to the Towers Hotel) Local supermarket 10 minute walk. Larger supermarket, (Coles and Woolworths) 5 minutes drive away. We are in a quiet, dead end street and have friendly and supportive neighbours.

We are interested in exchanges around Australia and up for consideration for elsewhere out of Australia. Matching school holidays within Australia work well as Jen works in education and our children are studying.

We also have a gentle greyhound and indoor cat that we can have looked after however we may be able to negotiate exchange care of pets if this works.

More about us

  1. We are a couple with a 20 year old daughter and 14 year old son. We are interested in swapping around Australia during school holidays, or USA, Canada, UK, Europe or open to suggestions. We like to swap around Christmas time especially as this is when we have a larger time available, up to 4 weeks.

  2. We have just completed building our new home (sept 2015) and are delighted with the feel and openness of the space. We prefer to swap with a family that has a car so we can go further afield from London for day trips. (We have a Nisson Micra for swap) Barry owns his own business and Jen is a primary school principal.

  3. We live near a beautiful national park, Morialta Falls, we like to potter in our new house garden, and try to live a happy, mindful life. We have not swapped before and we are keen to have our first go successful.
