About our home

Our two bedroom apartment is our beach retreat. Located on the eastern most point on the Sunshine coast there are sweeping unobstructed views to Moreton Island and north towards Noosa Heads.
The master bedroom has its own bathroom/toilet and walk in robe. The second bedroom has two single beds and built in cupboards. There is a second bathroom with bathtub and shower. There is also a separate toilet opposite this bathroom. The kitchen is well appointed with great appliances- I love preparing meals at the stone benches while looking out to sea! The adjoining dining area seats eight.
The lounge area is comfortable and spacious with sliding doors that open completely to extend inwards the balcony and stunning views. The apartment has polished floors throughout (except carpeted bedrooms).
Seapoint also has beautifully landscaped gardens- our original attraction to it. At the back of the complex there are great barbeque facilities and an outdoor eating area is well appointed with shaded dining options. The heated pool is set amidst the tropical garden and is a wonderful spot to lounge on the outdoor furniture and read a book!
The complex is small and situated in a quiet area. There is an on-site manager who will trouble-shoot any queries on the spot. The apartments have a lock up carpark in the basement and security is good.
Seapoint is an easy 10 minute walk to the patrolled surf beach Kings Beach where there is also an large seawater swimming pool which is great for kids and includes dedicated swimming lanes for the more serious swimmers. A short drive will take you to great fishing spots along Bulcock beach or Lake Currimundi.
An extensive 10 kilometre boardwalk commemorating Australian service personnel stretches along the coastline with lots of picnic areas (with barbeques) and parks for children dotted along the way. Likewise there is an abundance of great casual dining options-lots of cafes and the newly renovated Surf Lifesaving Club on the sea edge is a great place for a sundown drink.
Caloundra is also the gateway to lots of attractions on the Sunshine Coast. Australia Zoo is a short drive and further day excursions to the north are the beaches of Mooloolaba and Noosa - and the Noosa National park. The Sunshine Coast’s famous hinterland with its Glasshouse Mountains is also just a short drive away. There is a lively local food scene with a diversity of choice- cafes restaurants and bars are all within walking distance.
All our suggestions of places to go and things to do are outlined in our Guest Welcome pack waiting for you on arrival.
