About our home

Our house has the best of both worlds in the small historic village of Landsborough on the Sunshine Coast. Tranquil and quiet at the end of a cul-di-sac on 3/4 acre bushland yet only 8 mins walk to everyday amenities, shop, pub, post office, bus and train stn. 20 mins drive to the beautiful beaches of Caloundra. And Steve Irwin's famous Australia Zoo is just 5 mins away.

Local pubs in Landsborough & Beerwah do great food PLUS lots of beautiful restaurants all over Sunshine Coast
Cool bars
Landsborough pub is a quiet typical country pub and The Beerwah Hotel 8 mins drive away has great food, live bands and DJs. Courtesy bus will pick up and drop off from your front door in Landsborough. PLUS lots of nightclubs in Mooloolaba 25 mins away.
Cozy cafés
Landsborough Bakery and Cafe 8 are the best PLUS hundreds more gorgeous cafes close by in hinterland towns of Maleny, Montville and out at Caloundra etc
Retail therapy
Caloundra and Eumundi Markets, Sunshine Plaza, Maroochydore and Morayfield Shopping centre
Bit of culture
If you appreciate historic buildings and sacred places, you’ll find the Sunshine Coast is not light on cultural heritage. The Valley Rattler steam train in Gympie, the heritage listed buildings and archives in Eumundi, the cane sugar history of Nambour, and the shipwrecks of SS Dicky and HMAS Brisbane. Delve into the Aboriginal Dreaming stories about the Glass House Mountains and you’ll get an ancient indigenous perspective on the formation of these mysterious monoliths.
