Our home is in a fantastic location with easy access to public transport to get all over Sydney.
The "Bay Run/Walk" is a short 15 minute stroll from the front door. Wikipedia describes "The Bay Run is particularly popular with joggers, walkers, roller skaters and cyclists who enjoy the pleasant waterside scenery whilst participating in exercise. It is 7 kilometres long and passes through 7 suburbs providing excellent views of Iron Cove for its entire course as it constantly hugs the shoreline."
The new light rail line is 50 metres from the front door and provides incredibly convenient and comfortable transport to the Fish Markets, Darling Harbour, the Star Casino, Chinatown, Central Station and the edge of the CBD. There are buses located a short 5-10 minute walk that will take you to the CBD, Eastern Suburbs beaches and the harbourside eclectic suburb of Balmain.
2 small local shopping centres (10 & 15 min stroll away) provide all your needs in regard to 3 supermarkets, fresh food markets, specialty stores and food courts while there are a myriad of local specialty food providores (award winning fresh pasta, bakery, patisseries, deli, cheese specialists, chocolaterie) along with some of Sydney's best cafes and restaurants catering to all food tastes.

Our home is two storeys - upstairs has 3 double bedrooms (all with builtin robes) and the bathroom has a separate bath and shower, toilet and basin. The ground floor contains a separate lounge and dining room, kitchen, laundry (washer & dryer) with second toilet and a study with desktop computer. The fully stocked kitchen has a dishwasher, electric oven & stove and a microwave. We love to cook with the wonderful fresh ingredients available locally so there's plenty of crockery, cutlery and serving dishes if that's your thing too.
The private courtyard has a new BBQ and comfortable seating for 6 guests around a table - or squeeze 12 in as we have done before. Outdoor cantilever umbrella available for those extra sunny days. Take a trip to the fish markets in the morning, buy your fill of wonderful seafood, meats and fresh fruit & vegetables and then come home and cook up a BBQ feast in the courtyard whilst sipping on some beautiful Australian wines available from 4 local bottle shops. After your BBQ feast - take a stroll up to Norton Street to any number of specialty Gelato shops and indulge in something special.
There's WiFi throughout the house, Apple TV available on the flat screen, blu ray DVD player and iPhone/Pod music dock. The complex has 12 townhouses and the neighbours are quiet and friendly.
Across the road is a beautiful park that has an off-leash dog walking area that takes you down to the harbour foreshore.
There's a local cinema on Norton Street (15 min walk) showing the latest in main stream and art house movies, film festivals and classic movies.
Parking is easy out front if you have a hire car.
