Our home is conveniently located in Sydney's inner western suburbs just 8.5km (a 15 min drive / 15 min by train) to the city center. In just a 10 min drive away you could be on the harbour taking in the views as you walk/run "The Bay Run". Ashfield has a local train station which is a pleasant 10 min stroll with frequent services to the city. Sydney's popular tourist spots such as Darling Harbour, the Harbour Bridge & Opera House are all within an easy, fuss free commute. We are also centrally located if you are heading west to bush walk in the Blue Mountains or north to the beaches such as Palm Beach or beautiful Kuringai National Park. If you don't fancy cooking too much, Ashfield itself is well known for its cheap & authentic Chinese dumpling restaurants & green grocers & is a gourmet's delight. There's also 2 local pubs which have excellent bistros at reasonable prices. Cosmopolitan cafe & deli culture are also within walking distance. Or why not just come home to a quiet barbecue on the deck as the sun sets over the backyard. We live in a quiet, tree lined street surrounded by 2 large parks. One is a sporting oval which hosts cricket in summer & soccer in winter. The shopping mall is just 2 blocks away. You'll want for nothing in our little neck of the woods!
