We're looking for a swap in 2022 in the home counties, from mid May to July or later. Situated adjacent to Noosa, Australia's, and one of the world's, top vacation destinations, our home is modern and comfortable, spacious and private. In our single-level home, we have three large bedrooms, two full bathrooms, two toilets and a well-equipped self-contained laundry. It has a study, a large living area with a gas log fireplace for cooler evenings, and airconditioning and fans for when it's hot. A newly built kitchen leads into a fully-equipped butler's pantry with dishwasher, wine fridge and every electric appliance you can think of. The pool is a step away from the spacious deck where we live most of the year, and also from the master bedroom. The house is in three separate areas, yet accessibly flows together. We have a small lush garden at the front, with a splendid Cassia Tree that weighs down with huge pink blooms in the season.
Ideally located, it is an easy drive to the world-renowned Laguna Bay Beach, with access to all the wonderful amenities that Noosa has to offer - a huge choice of restaurants on Noosa Marina, and on Gympie Terrace along the riverside, as well as on famous Hastings Street. Noosa is the jewel in the crown of holiday destinations, and one of the most sought-after places in Australia in which to live.

Not only was the house every bit as lovely as shown in the photographs, inside and out, very tastefully, and comfortably furnished throughout, it is well located for all amenities. It is less than 10 minutes from the centre of Noosaville and Tewantin, home so some of the best restaurants on the continent. We swapped for 4 months and did not want to leave. It was a true home from home. We have now travelled extensively in Australia and, by some margin, Nossa is the nicest location we have found in the country. Peter and Sheila did all they could to ensure that every aspect of our trip was pre-organised and we cannot thank them enough. Friends for life. Peter and I are experienced home exchangers. We travel to the UK most years to visit family, and are always looking for a swap in the English home counties. We enjoy a wonderful lifestyle here in Queensland, and we know you would love it, too. We are one couple, and prefer to swap with one couple.
We prefer longer swaps, and 2022 we are looking for a swap from April to June.
Sheila is an author and artist, Peter a retired journalist and author who plays golf.
Whilst enjoying the finer things in life, we are also down-to-earth and practical. We love music and theatre and good TV drama and film.
