About our home

Our warm and inviting family home was newly renovated with an extension in 2015. It is bright, sunny, modern and has a very relaxed vibe. It has a well maintained garden and plenty of outdoor decks. It is 100m walk to a stunning beach. The house had 2 separate wings with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, study, rumpus, open plan kitchen living and garage.
It is situated in a wonderful community close to large towns with a shared pathway for walking and cycling to the local large town of Ulverstone. .This beachside community of Turners Beach has a population of 1000 people. It’s got a great cafe and a farm gate berry farm with a restaurant. Locals love to be at the beautiful safe beach which extends for 3 kms.
The house is in the perfect location to explore and discover Tasmania. It is situated half way between Devonport and Ulverstone on the North West Coast. Both have many shops, excellent restaurants and activities to enjoy. It is an easy drive to the world famous Cradle Mt National Park and wilderness area, historic Launceston, Stanley, the Great Lakes region, Ben Lomond etc. It is a 2.5 hour drive to the East Coast & world famous Wineglass Bay & Freycinet National Park, and a 3.5 hour drive to historic Hobart (Salamanca Market & MONA Gallery) and Port Arthur.
We have bicycles for you to enjoy as well as kayaks for the local river. There is an outdoor fire/bbq and a Weber bbq.

Where is it?

Relaxed beachside area close to local town called Ulverstone. There is a shared pathway for walking or cycling (bikes available) into here. In the local area there is a fantastic funky cafe called La Mar and a farm gate berry farm called Turners Beach Berry Patch, complete with delicious berries, ice creams, local produce, restaurant and wood fired pizza oven.
The beach is approximately 3kms in length and is very popular for swimming, surfing, paddle boarding. It’s a very safe beach with a river mouth at the eastern end. The river has a boat ramp and kayaks are available for paddling in the river. There are great facilities such as a football oval, cricket nets, tennis court, playground and bowls club.
