“Very easy swap. Sue was so easy to work with and everything was exactly as described. Lovely big home with sensational living area and lovely outlook over the fairway. International guests would love the nightly visits from a great mob of grey kangaroos . Lovely big pool topped off the swap for us during a typical Qld summer. Thanks for everything Greg and Sue.”
Sue's reviewsAs a host (3)
“We stayed in Sue and Greg's house with our daughter and her family. The house was plenty big enough for the six of us and we all loved our stay there. The house is right on the golf course and it was quite novel seeing the golfers more or less walking through your back garden. At dusk many kangaroos came out to graze. There was also a pool which the kids enjoyed. The billiard table was used extensively by the whole family. This was our first home exchange which was more than successful. Many thanks to Sue and Greg. ”
“Had an awesome 10 day stay. Greg and Sue were so easy to communicate with, nothing was too hard and the property was fabulous and beautifully clean exactly as per the photos. We had a few friends visit and stay for a day or two and there was plenty or room and privacy for everyone. Great BBQ and outdoor eating area and a huge chefs kitchen. We used the bikes to visit local beaches and cafes, dined out at some awesome nearby restaurants, had a couple of rounds of golf at twin waters golf club (Just over the back fence!) and spent a few days just relaxing by the perfect deepwater pool. Out door patio area, 2 pool lounges + 2 living areas with 4 lounge suites even made it easy for everyone to escape and read a book. Looking after Jessie (Greg and Sues beautiful puppy) was a bonus for the last couple of days and she even helped us out reminding us when it was walk time. They left us welcome gifts, a great instruction manual and made our entire stay a breeze. Highly recommended especially if you want to escape in a quiet area of the amazing Sunshine Coast. Loved our stay and if they will have us we will be back. Thanks Greg and Sue and we hope you enjoy Japan as much as we enjoyed Twin Waters. Verena and Shaun ”
Where is it?
Our residential community, Twin Waters, on the Sunshine Coast of Australia was voted the best residential estate in the world in 2005. There is numerous walking and bike riding paths, waterways, a lake, tennis courts, a golf and country club, fine dining and the Twin Waters Novotel Resort nearby. We are also a short bike ride from the beach and the river inlet. We have a kayak available for kayaking on the many waterways in our suburb. We often see kangaroos from our home as they live on the golf course.
The weather here on the Sunshine Coast is divine and water sports, fishing and lazing by the beach are great favourites with locals and visitors. We live only 20 minutes drive from Noosa, a mecca for fine dining and shopping. It is also a quick 1/2 hour drive to the mountains where there are many walks and waterfalls, plus some quaint towns that are really beautiful to visit. It is easy to access the Sunshine Coast airport from our home.
