Our home is welcoming, comfortable and spacious. It's on a large block (900sqm) with a large pool. It's in a leafy suburb with beautiful parks near-by and the gorgeous, white sandy beaches are only 1.5miles (2.5km) away. Whether your like to surf or prefer to paddle, there is a beach to suit.
Our home is a solid brick home with wooden floorboards and carpet flooring. It's air conditioned and heated throughout. There are 4 bedrooms plus a study and we have wifi internet. There is a bedroom and bathroom upstairs and three bedrooms downstairs. Two bedrooms have queen size beds, one has a bunk bed (sleeps 2 children), and the other has a single bed. We have lots of toys if you have children with you. There's plenty of room to relax with 2 living areas, two meals areas and a great outdoor deck/BBQ area. There is a trampoline outside for the kids (or the young at heart!).
The family and lounge rooms each have a large plasma/LCD TV, hard drive movie player and DVD player. The stereo speakers connect to the outside deck/BBQ area so you can enjoy music outside or whilst in the pool.
Wembley Downs is 9 kilometers (about 15-20 minutes) from the City of Perth and 5 minutes drive from the beach (we also have bikes if you'd like to cycle there). The beaches in the photos you can see are all accessible within a 5-15 minute drive. There are many more beautiful beaches to explore within 30 mins drive of our home, Fremantle to the south and Hillarys Boat Harbor to the north. We are very happy to make recommendations for good spots to visit.
Wembley Downs is quiet but centrally located, being close to the city, beach, shops, restaurants, cafes, and the Swan river. it is an established area and there are many parks nearby with nice playgrounds and BBQ areas.
Perth is a city that is best explored with a car as it is quite sprawling and we are happy to discuss leaving our car for you so you can get the most out of your stay. We also have pushbikes you can use if you like.
There is a lot to explore in and around Perth, for example, 3 hours from Perth is the gorgeous Margaret River region, (Lonely Planet top 10 places in the world to visit). It's a rural region with 100s of wineries, restaurants, galleries, potteries, beaches, forests, caves, whale watching and much more. Another unique experience is Rottnest Island, just 20, minutes ferry boat ride from Fremantle (which is about 25 minutes from our home). There is also the Swan Valley, Fremantle, Mandurah, York and quite a bit more, again we're happy to chat with you as much as you like.
