Comfortable, cute A-frame cottage located in a quiet street next to the bush in the upper Blue Mountains. Nice homey feel with lots of character. A great getaway from the city. A few minutes drive to Wentworth Falls Lake and village.
Light and airy chalet with lots of windows. One very big bedroom with a double bed (with a view of the mountains on a clear day), a king single daybed in the lounge area and a spare single mattress. Simple, and very functional living. New mattresses and cotton linen. A big flued gas heater makes it cozy and warm. Airconditioner in upstairs bedroom for summer.
Big backyard with mature trees and table for eating outside.

“We stayed at Anna's place in May for a little weekend getaway and had a wonderful time. Anna's place is close to many hikes and beautiful landscapes - we really enjoyed our time there. The place was comfortable and cosy (and warm!), and had everything we needed. Only wish we could have stayed longer!”
Anna has her own business teaching Qigong/Tai Chi and Feldenkrais classes and reflexology. Dave is an energy management consultant.
Wentworth Falls is a small friendly local village. It has several cafes/restaurants, antique shops, gourmet bakery, butcher, green grocer, small supermarket, specialist Asian spice shop, newsagent/post office, chemist, and train station. There is a beautiful lake to have a picnic, walk (50 minutes all the way around) or swim in summer.
Less than a 10 minute drive to cute Leura village (cafes, restaurants and shops), Katoombah (famous Three Sisters, Echo Point, scenic world and the Carrington Hotel), and to Wentworth Falls waterfall/Conservation Hut and bush walks. There is something in the mountains for everyone including; beautiful bush walks, adventure activities, scenic views, galleries, cafes, markets and music.
Wentworth Falls village is a 1.5 hour drive by car (100km) and 2 hours by train from central Sydney. The chalet is a $12 taxi ride, a 15 minute bike, a 30 minute walk, or a 5 minute drive from the train station.
You can park in the driveway off the road when staying at the chalet.
