About our home

'Woodland Pond' - a truly beautiful French provincial style home on 4 acres (1.6HA). . Three double bedrooms each with its own ensuite. The master bedroom suite has double shower and basins. Classic entry, formal lounge with open fire, family room with solid fuel heater, dining room, kitchen, sunroom and seperate study. Outdoor entertaining area, BBQ and beautiful cottage gardens. Just 5 minutes out of the village of Woodend in the Macedon Ranges. An easy 1 hour train or road access to Melbourne, Castlemaine and Bendigo. Close to world reknown Hanging Rock, historic gardens and boutique wineries. Mazda MX5 available by negotiation. Weekly cleaning service provided.
Australian wildlife often visit the property: kangaroos, koalas and birdlife.

We have a Mazda MX5 sports car that we would consider leaving.

The Macedon Ranges is a vibrant growing tourism region, located right on Melbourne's doorstep, less than an hour's drive from Melbourne along the Calder Freeway (or 40 minutes from Melbourne Airport)or an easy 1 hour train journey. Anne is 51 and Frank is 61. Both are professionally employed: Anne is a senior Government executive and Frank is a psychotherapist and author.

Five grown up children all whom live away from home.

We love to travel, enjoy fine food and wine, entertaining, trekking/walking, gardening, cycling, fitness, sailing and music.
