About our home

Our modern 2 story home overlooks the lake heading up to the unspoilt beaches of the Sunshine Coast. Stroll through the environmental park, kayak the lakes and tributaries or swim in the ocean or house pool. Our house is large and airy with balconies facing north and south and a saltwater swimming pool and undercover entertaining area.

The Sunshine Coast is the home of Australia Zoo and the Crocodile Hunter as well as the beautiful national parks of Noosa and the Hinterland. Cafes and restaurants abound in Caloundra which is just 1 hour north of Brisbane international airport or 40 minutes from Maroochydore airport. Local markets, the Ginger Factory, Aussie World and Ettamogah Pub are just a short drive away.

We also have a farm house in the hinterland available for exchange for those who would prefer bush walking to beach walking.

Our suburb is in the holiday destination of Caloundra. Coastal walks and pristine beaches surround the area. If golf is an interest then the Greg Norman designed golf course at Pelican Waters is quite a challenge. We have parks and bbq areas all within walking distance and public transport at the front door. Our surfing and fishing beaches attract people from all over the world. Or if you like scuba diving then there is a large naval ship off the coast that has fabulous diving. If sport and outdoors is an interest then you're sure to find something to do here on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.

We are a professional couple working locally in Caloundra. We have 4 adult children and one grandchild all living an hour away in Brisbane. We enjoy travelling and using our motorhome to visit some of the beautiful beaches on the east coast. We also enjoy playing golf, swimming and surfing.
