About our home
Our town Coolum Beach in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, is a delightful coastal village with beautiful beaches, natural attractions and a choice of restaurants, most within easy walking distance. We are centrally located to all the Sunshine Coast Tourist attractions and only 20 min. easy drive to other international tourist destinations such as Noosa or Mooloolaba. The nearest airport is Sunshine Coast Maroochydore Airport only 7 km from the property.
'The Garden Villa’ is a relaxing getaway, beautiful, secluded, quiet and a short 200mwalk to prestine beaches. The site falls steeply from the road access into the rain forest. Our pole home is set high in the rain forest trees with expansive timber decks in the tree canopy. The property has a creek and lush tropical gardens that thrive in filtered light through the forest trees. This garden hideaway is located under our timber pole home.
We enjoy the comfortable, yet rustic and arty setting. One set of linen is provided for your convenience, on arrival. The garden villa is fully furnished complete with cutlery and crockery. We trust you will enjoy your stay

Bobby is a consultant to the Australian Construction Industry. Sanet is a teacher. We have two daughters aged 20 and 21 who are studying Biomedical Science and living independently. We are nearly 60 and plan to retire at the end of this year to enjoy more free time and travelling.

We would like to swap with people who will enjoy a beautiful, secluded, peaceful and quiet getaway - a space where you can relax in a chilled atmosphere only a short walk to pristine beaches. We live in a neighbourhood where everyone knows each other and where we respect each other’s privacy and right to quiet enjoyment of this piece of paradise. We do not allow loud music or parties, especially after dark. With consideration to our neighbours and the environment, we have a ‘quiet time’ rule after 10pm, please!

The house is our special interest. A lot of effort has gone into making the house feel comfortable, yet rustic and arty, a natural extension of the surrounding forest habitat. We love the ocean and are active volunteer surf lifesavers. My other interest is classic cars, especially classic Jaguar cars. My wife is a yoga teacher

Warm greetings! We welcome you to this unique space that we take care of with affection. It’s a place of well-being for those of you who like to connect with nature and the ocean. The address is 9 Sandy Cove Crescent, Coolum beach. Should you require directions, please let me know. There are 5 car parks in the street in front of the house. Please follow the stone pathway around the right hand side of the house down to the lush garden where you will find your garden villa. Please txt me on 0417 611 417 when you arrive. The garden villa will be open. You are welcome to use the laundry. We also have 2 boogie boards availble.
We invite you to kick back, relax and enjoy this impressive venue but also be mindful of our 'quiet time' rule after 10 pm. We respect our lovely neighbours' right to quiet and peacefull enjoyment of their own homes. Please discuss this rule with your guests and call Bobby should you have any queries. The nearest beach is straight down the road to the carpark, then about 90 steps down a stone bathway to the beach, an easy 200m walk to the water.
We are happy to discuss including our VW van in the swap if a vehicle is reciprocated.
