About our home

***** Our apartment is available between 22 December.2019 and 06 January 2020.

Our apartment is 30 minutes away by car and 45 by public transport from the Vienna city center and offers a calm atmosphere after a busy day sightseeing. It´s a 2 floors condominium and it´s the only one in an area dominated by family houses. It is our quiet oasis after a long day at work where we can enjoy staying in the garden or going for a walk with our son and dog.
Plenty of free parking spaces available if you are traveling by car, but also a bus station right in front of the building to enjoy the very good Viennese public transportation.
Our flat has all amenities for a couple or a small family. It is a small apartment of 60m2 with a garden of 100m2. It can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults and a baby or a toddler.
We can make available on request a stroller and 2 bicycles. One of them has a seat for a toddler.

We prefer to have the home cleaned professionally especially for stays longer than 3 days. The cleaning fee is 50€. For stays longer than 3 days this feature is not negotiable.

More about us

  1. We're a young couple with a 3 year old son and a 5 year old Golder retriver

  2. Mada is a police officer, Cristina is in the financial industry, Jonathan is enjoying Kindergarten and Speedy is taking care of our home while we are away for the day

  3. We both love nature and this is reflected in the choice we made where to live. Our flat is located in a quiet area of the city surrounded by fields and we love coming back home every day. Mada has a passion for illustrations and his free time is spent drawing. Cristina likes yoga and pilates and this is what she does in her spare time.

Where is it?

The flat is in a quiet neighbourhood in the 22nd district of Vienna. It offers the possibility of relaxing after a day of sightseeing in a more rural area of the city while being very well connected to the city's attractions by public transportation. The bus stop is right outside the building; nevertheless you won´t be bothered by the bus/car noises as the block is perpendicular to the street where the bus passes and our flat is at the other end.
The public transportation is very well functioning in Vienna; there is very little walking in between bus stops and metro or train station and there are more ways of reaching the attractions in the city, all by comfortable public transportation.
Nearby there is a public lake (Hirschstetten see) and a park with domestic animals and plants (Blumengärten hirschstetten)where kids can have fun watching the animals or playing in the kids playground. Here there is a Viennese "heuriger" (local type of restaurant) where you try out local foods and drinks. Nearby there is also a big outdoor playground for kids and adults (Motorikpark) and an indoor one in case of bad weather (Family fun). All of these are reachable by public transport within 15-30 minutes.

Distances to some of the city´s attractions :
-) To the city centre/Stephansplatz: 45 minutes
-) To Vienna international center (VIC) : 35 minutes
-) To Praterstern: 40 minutes
-) To the Schönbrunn palace: 1 hour
-) To the main train station (Wien Hbf) : 45 minutes
-) To the Belvedere Castle: 50 minutes (5 walking minutes from the main train station)

Grocery shopping:
The nearest shopping area is Gewerbepark Stadlau which is 15 minutes away by car and 20 minutes by bus. There are shops for every needs: groceries, clothing, furniture, children fashion and toys, etc. There is a Penny and a Billa supermarket a few bus stops closer than Gewerbepark Stadlau shopping area.
There is a local farmer’s shop 3 KM away which is not reachable by public transportation. Here you can find season fruits and veggies from the nearby farms, homemade bread as well as locally produced oil, honey, etc.
