“We loved it in this beautiful and tastefully furnished Mansion in a quiet village located about 40 Minutes by car from the outskirts of Vienna. Use Park and Ride and take the Subway into Vienna to do your sightseeing. Christine and Helmut were perfect hosts thinking of everything to make us feel at home. This was a great and recommendable exchange.”

As a host (1)More about us
-
We are Helmut and Christine, 58 and 54 years old, married with 3 children (Markus, a 24 year old boy, Julia, our 30 old daughter, and Florian, our 32 year old son) and two grandchildren. Christine works at home and Helmut is a consultant. We enjoy travelling when able to get away. Markus is studying in Vienna, Florian and Julia finished their studies and live and work in Vienna. We travel as a couple.
We made exchanges in Irland and the Netherlands in 2011, Finland and France in 2012, England and France in 2013, Italy and France in 2014, Slovenia, Switzerland and France in 2015, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Munic in 2017, Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina in 2018, Slovenia, Italy and Austria in 2019. All of them were very nice experiences! We would expect to arrange an e mail exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers and to see how best we can facilitate their stay in Austria and vice versa.
Our friends and neighbours are very friendly and contacts are very close-knit, would be on hand to offer advice for trips, for visiting the surrounding and offering a sight into the traditions of rural Lower Austria.
Sorry, no dog/cat household possible because of an allergy.
We normally accommodate max. 4 people during an exchange. We are very respectful of other people's houses and belongings and would treat your property with the utmost care.
