About our home
We live in a cost 3 bedroom apartment in the city of Salzburg with our three children. Salzburg itself is an extremely safe family friendly city. Our apt is a short bus/bike ride from the city center and old town with all the historical sites. On nice days we can even walk about 30 minutes (with the children) into the old town. There is a private playground on the premises. The house has 8 apts consisting of couples and small families of varying ages, all mindful of one another but respectful of privacy and personal space. We live directly near the famous Alm canal, where you can swim for free on humid summer days or walk to Leopoldskron lake to see the ducks and swans or swim in the nearby pools at the Lepi. There are parks galore if traveling with family, otherwise just head down the street for several a drink or dining at one of the local restaurants. As Salzburg is a bike city, this is the most convenient way to get around. My family not being much for biking, we prefer the city buses which stop across the street and run every 10 minutes
