About our home

We have a large and modern house which has a ground and a first floor (200 mÂ²). There are 3 bedrooms,(4 sleeps) two bathrooms with toilet upstairs and an extra toilet downstairs, a large living room with flat TV, CD /DVD player, dining room, well equipped kitchen and a small office with internet highspeed connection (WLan). From the dining room you have access to a large terrace and a nice garden, which is surrounding the house. A car is required. The house is situated in an absolutely quiet and green area near the woods and mountains with lots of family homes. If possible, our cat should be fed (the cat is always outside) and we will fed your cat.
Open for short holidays all the year, surprise us!!

More about us

We are Elke and Walter, a married couple with one teenager. Walter is an professional (Engineer and Professor) and enjoy travelling when able to get away. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see yours. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in Austria.

Ideally located as a touring base, our village offers easy access to the cities of Klagenfurt, Vienna, Graz, Salzburg, Venezia, Triest, Udine, Lubliana in around of lower then tree hours and the tourist attraction of the Lake of Wörthersee in a few minutes.
