About our home

The house is situated in a spacious, private 3 acre development in St Martins, St Philip, Barbados on the South East of the island. It was designed and built by veteran Bajan architect Michael Lashley along with 3 other houses on the site and his Architect’s office. There is a communal pond and trees and plenty of space to reflect and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Zion house has a very simple homely feel about it and is very quiet and tranquil. Although the immediate environment around the house is quiet and spacious the house is within 5 minutes walking distance to a supermarket, Rum shop (Bajan pub) convenience store.

It is in semi rural residential location which is very Barbadian (Bajan) with very few tourists. So when you are walking about you will find yourself living and experiencing authentic Barbadian life and meeting Bajan people.
