About our home

Spacious comfortable apartment at the edge of a small park (green open view). Old 50's building with romantic feel with contemporary and young interior. Small practical kitchen straight from the fifties, also the same feel in the small bathroom. Big living area and dining room and quiet master bedroom. The second bedroom is installed as a small music studio, but can be used as second bedroom (for child). Overall, big built-in closets and storage. All living areas are foreseen with warm original wooden flooring. Panoramic windows for maximum lightning. Everything is nicely kept and and clean.

More about us

We're a young couple (Jan and Liesbet) seeking their luck on the other side of the world for 4 months. Liesbet (30) will be working in melbourne to complete her PhD at the university for the duration of 3 months. Her hobby's are volleyball, painting and drawing,... The love between us two is too big to be separated for 4 months, that's why Jan (30) is following her down under. He is an Art director in an advertising agency and is looking for something similar in Melbourne. His hobby's are soccer, music producing, dj, snowboarding, ... We are looking for something modest nearby the heart of melbourne for 3 months, preferably in the city. After that we're going touring in Australia for a month.

Public transport into the city and more on 50 m from the door. Grand central station only 4 minutes away with public transport. From there on, there's a great connection to Paris (3u), London (3u), Brussels (20 min), Amsterdam (2u), Bruges (1u), Coast (1u30). 15 min walk to the historic centre. Antwerp is a perfect home-base to travel to the rest of europe. Antwerp is the fashion capital, has great clubs, very good restaurants and a trendy scene. On the other hand, it's also well known for it's museums, history and architecture.
