Where is it?

We live at the edge of the old town of Brugge (Bruges) wich is very well known the world over as a favourite tourist destination (sometimes called "the Venice of the north").Is a World Heritage Site of Unesco.Brugge is chosen to be the 18th best European destinations. The town is at walking distance (15 min), with the bike in 5 min. There is a busstop right in front of the house. Buses every 20 min to the town and to the train station.
Brugge is a well preserved medieval town with a great history.
Museums, good shopping, lots of restaurants (from cheap to very expensive....) Not much of a real night life I'm afraid.
Nearest airport: Brussels Intl (110 km)
Use of bicycles (2) The beach and the sea is 15 min by train.
The train takes you to the whole of Europe : Brussels (1h), Ghent (30 min), Antwerp 2,5 h), Paris with the Thalys from Brussels in 2,5 h, London with the Eurostar in 3h. Amsterdam, Koln, etc.
The European Parliament is set up in Brussels for historical reasons but also because it is practically in the center of Europe. Some websites about Brugge :
