About our home
Our 175 square meters house is fully equipped (wash machine, dryer, microwave, freezer ...) with 4 bedrooms (2 large beds, 2 single beds), 2 bathrooms (1 with shower/bath, and the other one with shower only), a kitchen, a living room. The house is located in a very quiet area in a really nice green area. The wooden floor, in all main rooms, and the sunny living-room windows provide a warm feeling. During the summer, it is very nice to have a drink or diner on our terrace. As we have 3 children, we have plenty of toys and DVD's for boys and girls!

“We stayed at Eric and Francoise's property in France in the Summer of 2009 before they moved to Belgium. Unfortunately their plans changed in the last minute and they were not able to go to Sweden for personal reasons. They didn't break our agreement, though, and opened their home in France to us and were excellent hosts until they went away themselves. Eric is a senior executive in a Healthcare company, and Francoise has a engineering background in petroleum products but has decided to run a company in wood construction. We have 3 kids (12,8 and 5). We have also 2 very nice cats that can be removed if necessary (holidays for them too !) We are non-smoking, very respectful and would like to exchange with non-smoking family during school holidays. We like nature, walking, outdoor activities and also historical interests. We have done 5 fantastic successful exchanges (in Singapore in 2006, in British Columbia in 2008, in London in 2008, Sweden in 2009, Hungary in 2010). We are looking for an exchange for next school holidays (summer 2012) preferably in Europe.

Our house is located in one of the best living area of Brussels. Within a short distance, you will find many shops, restaurants. You can also enjoy our bikes (we have 2 adults & 3 children bikes), run, walk in a nature preserved park closed to the house. A little further, you can also enjoy the big forest of «forêt de Soignes & le Bois de la Cambre". Within a very short distance, you will find the public transport (tramway, train or bus) that bring you directly to the center of the city (the famous "grand place", the royal area,Manneken-Pis, museums like Brueghel and Magritte) as well as to the famous street "Avenue Louise" (Chanel, Lonchamp, Dior, Gucci...). Brussels has more than 80 museums, from Fencing to Fine Arts, ensuring something to suit every taste. Do not miss the visit of Atomium, the mini Europe Park and also comics' museums. Last but not least, we are at about 15 mn from the main station (Bruxelles midi) that connect you to main big cities in Europe (Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne, Frankfort, London ...). Coming in our flat will offer you the unique opportunity to be in the capital of Europe, enjoying the facilities of this big city and a peaceful place to rest after long days of fun.
