About our home
Our house is a cosy villa situated in the green outskirts of Brussels. You and your kids will definitely enjoy our big garden (+ - 1000 m2) with view on the nearby castle and the castle-park (www.kasteelgroot-bijgaarden.be). It is the ideal place to play and to relax.
The view in the house is simply supperb : on one side, you have the park, on the other side, you have a little traditional cottage. The house is fully equiped and has a garage, cellar, a study, big living room, kitchen and three sleeping rooms.

I am a 44 year old legal adviser. I travel with my 15 year old daughter. We adore travelling and like to explore other environments and cultures. We are open-minded and have respect for the property of other people, so we only want to swap with people that are respectful too. We have swapped several times before (Rome, Paris, Amsterdam, Montpellier, The Hague, Tours) and we just loved it. We speak Dutch, English, French and Spanish.

Our house is situated in Groot-Bijgaarden, a nice town in the green outskirts of Brussels. Our home is situated next to the nice castle of Groot-Bijgaarden (www.kasteelgroot-bijgaarden.be). Nearby (200 meters), their is also a horse stable. The centre of the village of Groot-Bijgaarden with shops, restaurants, church and some nice buildings, is only 400 meters away.
Brussels is surprisingly nearby : you only need 13 minutes by train to reach the city-centre of Brussels with all his tourist attractions.
Things you can do in the area :
- visit one of the castles of the region (for example : castle of Gaasbeek at 14 km)
- visit the child-farm 'Neerhof" (4km)
- visit the watermill in Pede (10 km) and the museum of Bruegel
- visit the botanical garden of Meise (20 minutes by car)
- and of course all the touristic attractions of Brussels
- etc.
