Our airy home, is situated right in the medieval center of Ghent, in a neighborhood called 'Prinsenhof' where the castle of Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor used to be. A stone throw away from the 'Gravensteen', or 'castle of the counts' of which you can see the tower from our balcony. Plenty of really pretty sights, parks, bars, restaurants, movie theaters and musea within walking distance. Public transport is close by.
Antwerp, Bruges, Brussels and Ostend are only a 45 minutes drive by car.
Good to know is that Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Paris, London can be reached within less than 3 hours.
The apartment itself, a completely renovated house from 1830, is situated on a corner on the second floor. Windows galore, lots of light, even in the winter time.
There is a very large kitchen/dining room, a huge living room with balcony, a bathroom with shower, toilet and bathtub, an extra toilet, a laundry room, 2 bedrooms (one master bedroom with a king size bed and one bedroom with 3 bunk beds).
Most of the furniture are vintage classics. Our home is filled with plants.
Downstairs there is a gated patio with bycicles and a parking lot.
